The u-blox NEO-6M is a GPS module with -162dBm tracking sensitivity and only 27 second cold start time. This 50-channel GPS module, based on the uBlox-6 chipset, with an external antenna can connects to your system (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc) via TTL serial. Tt has up to 5Hz update rate that is fast enough for the majority of applications so whether you're tracking a pet or building an autonomous car, the NEO-6M has you covered!
Note: The pin TX and RX of this GPS module use 3.3V logic level. So if you're using 5V system (such as Arduino Uno R3), you will need to use logic level converter to 3.3V for communication.
